TECHNOLOGY IN THE COURTROOM

Speakers: Christopher Dunn, Sovereign Chambers &  George Philips, Acume Forensics 

Acume Forensic are industry leaders in the electronic preparation and presentation of evidence. Clients include Police Forces, HSE, CPS and defence solicitors.

Using material from previous court cases they will demonstrate:

-    how evidence can be stored electronically 

-    how complex material can be simplified

-    how technology can assist you in case preparation before and during trial

-    how evidence can be presented electronically to juries

A browser being used in the phone hacking trial, developed by Acume for the CPS fraud Group, will also be demonstrated.


Chris Dunn, Sovereign Chambers, will then demonstrate how to use tablet applications  (editing, splicing PDF files), build a PDF library on your tablet, and how to make the most of online legal resources.
