In June 2024, the Bar Council commissioned an independent review, chaired by Baroness Harriet Harman KC, to examine the scale of bullying, harassment and sexual harassment at the Bar. Over the following year, the review gathered extensive evidence to assess the impact of such misconduct, evaluate the effectiveness of existing reporting mechanisms, and identify underlying causes and potential solutions. Talk to Spot: how to report discrimination / bullying / harassment

Talk to spot is a Bar Council funded support tool which provides a confidential helpline for members of the Bar that are experiencing harassment or bullying.
