On 6th March 2025, noted historian Barbara Ellis gave an in-person talk to the NEC for International Women's Day.
The talk was called Empire & Allied Women of WWI and WWII. The talk explored the struggles experienced by women to be allowed to contribute to the war effort and the significant differences that they made.
